| I enlisted January 3, 1957 and was sent to San Diego for boot camp. I would have enlisted December 1, 1956, but I would have been sent to Great Lakes and I did/do not like cold weather. I was Recruit Chief Petty Officer while in Boot Camp. That was fun. That's me, third boot from the left, middle row next to BM1 Chatham. |
